Recentemente vi o documentário War Photographer realizado pelo director e produtor Christian Frei baseado no fotojornalismo de James Natchwey em zonas de conflito.

Christian Frei acompanhou Natchwey durante quase dois anos onde registou cenários de guerra e conflito no Kosovo, Palestina e Indonésia. Acima de tudo, mostra o lado sereno e o compromisso na recolha de informação do que é provavelmente o melhor fotógrafo de guerra.
War Photographer é um documentário intimista, focado totalmente no momento e na acção com ajuda de micro câmaras especiais acopladas à câmara fotográfica analógica.
O resultado é um conjunto de fotos que transmitem uma incrível sensação de proximidade, colocando em prática a velha máxima de Robert Capa: «If your pictures aren’t good enough, you’re not close enough».
